Myths (2006-2007)

In this series of paintings, drawings and prints, I hope to evoke the cyclical nature of life and of the human condition. The images are personal, yet they also attempt to embrace time and history, drawing parallels to ancient texts and sculpture.  In them, I imagine that time, space and emotion can become a physical presence, congealing and hardening, becoming a piece of rough-hewn geological substance.
